Balanced Scoring Lifts No. 8 UC Irvine Over Air Force

IRVINE, Calif. – Eighth-ranked UC Irvine scored the first three goals and never looked back as the Anteaters went on to beat Air Force, 14-7 at the Anteater Aquatics Complex Sunday afternoon.
UCI, the winners of three straight at home, improve to 12-8 overall, while the Falcons, who are receiving votes in the latest poll, go to 21-9 on the year.

>Air Force would start the scoring at 7:15 only to watch UCI answer with a goal by Stewart Campbell at 6:55, 8-3
>A UCI turnover led to a Falcon goal at 5:31
>Matos held off the defender and scored in close from the right side at 5:16, 9-4
>A field block bounced back the Anteaters way and Samuel Otta used the opportunity to score at 2:37, 10-4

>Shipman answered with a goal up top at 6:06
