SAN DIEGO, Calif. – UC Irvine dropped a 7-0 decision to San Diego in non-conference action, Friday afternoon.

The Anteaters had a tough task as Jessica Tsukiji squared off against Solymar Colling, ranked No. 61 nationally, and dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision.

At No. 2, Halla Alajeely went up against Elizabeth Goldsmith, ranked No. 124, and fell, 6-1, 6-2

In doubles, Arianna Tilbury and Jenna Schlatter battled at No. 2 before ultimately falling, 7-6 (7-3), to Kati Kukaras and Victoria Kalaitzis.
