UC Irvine Athletics Response To Spectators At Events For 2021 Spring Sports

| By:

IRVINE, Calif. -- In accordance with the State of California's decision to allow fans to return to outdoor sporting events starting April 1, 2021, UC Irvine Athletics will be allowing a limited number of patrons into Anteater Ballpark for the remainder of the collegiate baseball season.  Priority will be given to UC Irvine student-athlete families, donors and season ticket holders who will receive communication on how to gain access.  Single game tickets are not available at this time.

Unfortunately, fans and spectators are still not permitted at any indoor facility.  Additionally, no fans and spectators will be permitted at the Anteater Aquatics Complex, Tennis Complex or Anteater Stadium.  These facilities are still restricted as they do not allow for proper adherence to health and well-being guidelines.

This decision was made after careful deliberation and review of our venues, including ingress and egress points as well as venue capacities.  We will continue to reevaluate the reopening of our athletic venues and will provide communication when available.  We hope that we will be able to welcome everyone back into our venues soon.

Check back for updates on www.ucirvinesports.com.  You can also still follow all UC Irvine teams via social media on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  Whenever possible, games will also be live streamed on Big West TV or ESPN3.

Thank you for your continued support of Anteater Athletics!
