LONG BEACH, Calif. – UC Irvine women's tennis wrapped up the first day of action at the Long Beach State Fall Invitational, Friday afternoon.

The day was highlighted by Jenna Schlatter who advanced to the winner's bracket after defeating GCU's Tash Puehse, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Schlatter will play tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. against CSU's Sarka Richterova.

In singles flight A, Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico and Jessica Tsukiji will play in the consolation bracket tomorrow.

In singles flight B, Alyssia Fossorier will play in the consolation bracket at 110:30 a.m. against GCU's Valentino Del Marco. Dasee Carter and Emily Fowler will also see action tomorrow in the consolation bracket tomorrow.

In singles flight C, Dana Mackensen, Shreya Pavani, and Megan Mansonhing will all play tomorrow in the consolation bracket.

Mia Totah will also play again in the consolation round.

All five of UCI's doubles teams will also be back in action tomorrow in the consolation rounds.
