Emmanuel Coste won his first match of the singles qualifying draw Monday at the ITA All-American Championships.

Coste, who is 63rd in the preseason rankings, got out to a strong start, taking the first set, 6-4, against Oscar Cutting of Memphis. The two went back-and-forth from there with Coste pulling out the three-set victory (6-4, 4-6, 6-4).

Coste advances to the Round of 64 where he will face Penn's Kevin Zhu tomorrow at 8 a.m. (CT)/6 a.m. (PT).

Riccardo Roberto also teamed up in doubles, coming up just short against UNLV's Jackson Atherton/Anton Ornberg, 6-1, 1-6, 10-7.
