No. 12 Anteaters Fall to No. 1 Trojans

IRVINE, Calif. – No. 12 UC Irvine dropped a 17-8 decision to No. 1 USC, Sunday at Anteater Aquatics Complex.
The Anteaters move to 7-7 on the season while the Trojans improve to 12-1 overall.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
> Tyler Padua, Dylan Patist and Casey Lynton each finished with two goals
> Stewart Campbell and Thomas Cass each added a goal
> Zlatan Nikocevic dished out three assists while Nikola Ilic grabbed three steals
> Harrison Land played a complete goal in the net finishing with six saves and four steals
> UCI went 2-of-7 on powerplays while USC was 7-of-13
> The Trojans were led by Jacob Mercep with five goals while Blake Johnson made eight saves
