IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine had 20 women's water polo players named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches' academic honor roll for 2020.

Freshman Jensine Bugelli and senior Marissa Echelberger earned the outstanding distinction for having a cumulative GPA between 3.71 and 4.00. Danielle Ayala,Megan Falcon, Maeve Murphy, Tara Prentice, Portia Schiavone, Kili Skibby, Piper Smith, Calysa Toledo and Rylee Williams earned Superior honors with a GPA between 3.41-3.70. Ariana Bockstahler, Elena Flynn, Morgan Jones, Jessica Lynch, Sarah Nichols, Isabel Rack, Camila Rosas, Kayleigh Schultz and Jolene Viramontes all received an Excellent honor with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.4.

UC Irvine had a cumulative team GPA of 3.21. 

The ACWPC's All-Academic list honors players who possess a 3.2 GPA or greater and dressed for a game in the 2020 season.  A record number of 754 student-athletes earned the recognition in 2020. Teams must achieve a 3.0 GPA to garner honors.
