The NCAA will stream the 2009 National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship match on Friday (May 8) at 6:00 p.m. PT on the UCI Men's Volleyball Facebook page.

The Anteaters captured their second men's volleyball national championship with 3-2 (26-30, 30-23, 26-30, 30-17, 15-12) victory over USC at BYU's Smith Fieldhouse.

The match pitted the Anteaters and Trojans for the second time in nine days as fourth-ranked USC had just upset No. 1 UCI, 3-0 in the semifinals of MPSF Championships held at the Bren Center in front of a boisterous crowd of 1,997.

Senior setter Ryan Ammerman was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player with senior Taylor Wilson and freshman Carson Clark joining him on the All-Tournament team.

Anteater blocking was key as UCI recorded a season-high 20.5 blocks to USC's 7.5.

UCI ended the season 27-5 overall, winning the MPSF regular season with a 19-3 mark. UCI started the season at No. 6 and ended up holding the No. 1 spot for seven weeks that season.

The Championship is one of seven title matches to be streamed beginning with last's year's tilt today (May 4). Coverage includes team selection facts and history, showcasing some of the tightest contests in the history of the NCAA men's volleyball championship. Five are national championship matches and two all-time classics are from the national semifinals.
