Junior Dani Guglielmo, a guard on the women's basketball team, has excelled in the classroom during her career at UC Irvine. As a Psychology and Social Behavior major, she has achieved a cumulative GPA of better than 3.50, earning Highest Honors on the 2019 Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll list. She was also named to the 2019 Big West Winter All-Academic Team.

Guglielmo played in all 31 games for the Anteaters this season, establishing career-highs in scoring (5.3 ppg), rebounding (2.9 rpg) and assists (1.0 apg). She also ranked fourth on the team with 40 three-pointers made. Guglielmo closed the month of January on a hot streak, sinking a season-best six threes against CSUN on Jan. 23. One week later, she knocked down five triples for a career-high 19 points against Hawai'i.

The Los Gatos native aspires to be a military social worker or a victims advocate.
