Quote from head coach Elizabeth Ferris
Great fighting and energy from all 13 players today! We battled a tough Pac-12 opponent and a Chapman team that was much improved and gunning for us. Almost every game in Flora's match went to deuce, and Steph was an inch from snagging that second set to force a third. With the clinch format Halla, Jenna, and Jessica weren't able to finish, we liked their chances if they could've finished. Doubles against Chapman started slow but everyone started singles playing their games with intensity and purpose. We had some very close sets and matches, pretty big to sweep all six singles. I'm very proud of how they played the big points. This was the second weekend in a row doing this tough double header of a home match then away match. I'm very appreciative of the effort and help from coach Jessica Perez and captains Arianna and Jacqueline to make these matches run smoothly. We are continuing to make strides and looking forward to our next matches.

Quote from Arianna Tilbury
Today was a tough day but I'm proud of everyone and how well they battled. Dana and I played smart doubles and we stuck to our game plan well. In singles I was focusing on hitting good targets and having good footwork which helped me win those close games. I'm so excited for the rest of the season because we keep getting tougher and stronger every time we compete! Zot Zot Zot!

Quote from Dana Mackensen
Everyone fought hard today and stuck to their games. Dasee fought really hard and her energy pumped me up and gave me the ability to pull through my match. I'm really proud of everyone's efforts today!

Quote from Dasee Carter
Today was a grind, seeing everyone fighting gave me a lot of energy and made me really pumped up. Overall, it was a great match and it was fun seeing everyone battling out there!

Quote from Jessica Tsukiji
Utah is a tough team and they came out with a lot of energy which gave them the edge in doubles. In singles, we are continuing to compete well as a team and build confidence for our upcoming matches.

Quote from Halla Alajeely
Great matches all around. I think I started a little slow and my energy was low. But playing next to Jenna, who's always loud and pumped really helped me get back into it. Loved the atmosphere and energy today!

Quote from Jenna Schlatter
We all fought extremely hard today against a very tough team! Although it didn't go our way, there's definitely a lot of positives to take out of today's match and continue applying to our upcoming matches!
