Five new Anteaters will take the court for UC Irvine men's basketball during the 2020-21 season. Get to know each new face before the season begins!
Andre Henry | Guard | 6-4 | 175 lbs | La Canada-Flintridge, Calif. | St. Francis HS
I chose UCI because it's the best of bothย worlds. I get to play the sport I love, basketball, while getting a great education at the same time.
What can fans expect to see from you this season?
They can expect to see a player that will never stop smiling and constantly looking like he's having fun.ย
How would your teammates describe you?
They would describe me as a funny and someone will a smile always on my face.
What are some goals you have for yourself and the team this season?
Some goals for me is just being able to play and doing whatever helps us win. As a team, the goals are to win our conference and advance in the NCAA tournament.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of basketball?
Sleeping.

- Led his team to the Southern California Regional Division II championship game
- ย Averaged 24.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists his senior yearย
- Helped his team to the 2019 3A CIF Southern Section playoffs, scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds
