ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The UC Irvine women's indoor track & field team wrapped up their stay at the Albuquerque Convention Center Saturday as 16 Anteaters were in action on the final day of the elite Don Kirby Invitational.

Junior Mychal Robinson was the top qualifier out of the 60m hurdle prelims, clocking in at a lifetime-best 8.62 (8.64). She bettered that time by .01 seconds in the semis where she finished ninth, and one spot shy of advancing to the finals. Robinson jumped to No. 3 in the UCI record books.

Senior Tyra Jones was also ninth out of 40 competitors in the qualifying round at 8.79 (8.81), but fell short of the last semifinal qualifying slot by one-hundredth of a second. Sophomore Iyana Cooksey (9.36) and freshman Shayla Oliver (9.53) added season bests.
