Biography
2018 (Senior)
• Finished third in the qualifying round of the 60m hurdles at the UW Invitational with a time of 8.79
• Went on to run a personal-record 8.69 in the semifinals (11th)
• That mark ranks fourth on UCI’s all-time charts
• Notched a season-best 7.97 in the 60m dash at the Don Kirby Invitational
• Missed the MPSF Championships with an injury
• Named to the conference's all-academic team
2017 (Junior)
• Ran a season-best 7.91 in the 60m dash at the MPSF Indoor Championships
• Established a then career-best 8.71 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Don Kirby Invitational
• Finished sixth in the 60H at the Lumberjack Team Challenge (8.77)
• Came in third in the qualifying round at the UW Invitational (8.82)
• Earned MPSF All-Academic honors
2016 (Sophomore)
• Registered a 60m personal-record 7.89 at the MPSF Indoor Championships
• Had a season-best 8.77 in the 60m hurdles at the Don Kirby Invitational
2015 (Freshman)
• Competed in the 60m (8.19) and 60m hurdles (9.24) at the Lumberjack Team Challenge
• Notched a season-best 9.20 in the 60H at the Don Kirby Invitational
High School
• Member of the track & field and cheerleading teams at San Marcos High School
• Avocado East League champion in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles and 4x100 relay as a senior
• Three-time CIF San Diego Section qualifier in both hurdle events
• Advanced to the 300H finals and finished 12th in 2014
• Also a CIF finalist in the 100H as a junior
• Left as the school-record holder in the 100H (14.87), 300H (45.86), 4x100 and 4x400
• Named the Knight of the Year (2014) and Team MVP (2012-14)
• Served as her Class President for three years
Personal
• Majoring in public health with a minor in anthropology
• Earned national all-academic honors from the USTFCCCA for the 2017 outdoor track & field season
• Interned for Dr. Shawn Hamilton at an internal medicine practice
• Volunteered for the AIDS Service Foundation
• Parents are Tonya Parker-Jones and Ty Jones
• Has nine siblings
