• Jewett is the conference leader in the 400m (46.82) and 800m (1:49.14), while Sicard ranks first in the 110H (13.74).
• The duo also made up half of the Anteaters' quartet that ran the fastest 4x400 relay in the Big West at 3:11.20.

LAST TIME OUT
Senior Lloyd Sicard and sophomore Isaiah Jewett continued their dominance on the track with top performances at the 25th annual Big West Challenge in Long Beach last Friday. Sicard, who claimed his fourth consecutive title in the 110m hurdles, broke the meet record for the third time in his career with a season-best 13.74. Jewett, meanwhile, earned his second individual victory in the 800m, crossing the finish line in 1:50.22. Sicard and Jewett then teamed up with sophomore Paul Resong and senior Brandon Howard to win the 4x400 relay. The quartet kept their No. 1 ranking in the conference with a season-best 3:11.20. Senior Matt Seawright registered a personal-record 204-04 in the hammer throw, making him one of only five athletes in the Big West to surpass 200 feet this year.

ALL WE DO IS WIN
The Anteaters have combined for 16 event wins (including relays) in six meets this season. Lloyd Sicard and Isaiah Jewett lead the way with four individual victories each. Sicard is still undefeated in the 110H, while Jewett has twice claimed top honors in both the 400m and 800m. In addition, Sicard has been a part of all five first-place relay teams, with Jewett joining him in a trio of 4x400 triumphs.

LEAVING A LEGACY
Senior Lloyd Sicard continues to add on to his impressive resume in his final collegiate campaign. He earned his sixth career Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor after coming away with victories in the 110H and 4x400 relay at the UC Riverside Spring Classic Invitational. Sicard then set a season best in the 110H at the Mondo Team Challenge (13.87), and again at the Big West Challenge where he clocked in with a meet-record 13.74. That time ranks first in the Big West, seventh in the West Region and 11th in the NCAA this year. In the season opener, the Gardena, Calif., native also established a personal-record 10.65 in the 100m. Sicard is the reigning co-Big West Track Athlete of the Year and two-time defending conference champion in the 110H where he owns the school record at 13.60. He advanced to the NCAA Championships as a sophomore and junior, while qualifying for the NCAA West Prelims all three years. Sicard also had a chance to compete among the nation's best this past summer as he was one of 32 athletes to earn a spot in the 110H at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

JEWETT GOES BACK-TO-BACK
Sophomore Isaiah Jewett earned back-to-back Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors on March 14 and 21. He snagged his second-straight award after his 800m performance at the UCI Spring Break Collegiate Classic. Jewett won the event in a personal-best 1:49.14, putting him at No. 5 among UC Irvine's all-time top-10. Previously, the Inglewood, Calif., native was recognized for his 400m victory at the Ben Brown Invitational where he notched a then lifetime-best 47.38. Jewett topped that performance at the Mondo Team Challenge in Sacramento with a time of 46.82. He ranks first in the Big West in both the 400m and 800m.
