New Seat Configuration Available For 2016-17 Basketball Season

IRVINE, Calif. -- Using feedback from the end of season fan experience survey, UC Irvine Athletics will be making an additional 1,294 reserved seats available for purchase in the Bren Events Center beginning with the 2016-17 men's basketball season.

The seat reconfiguration is a response to our fans' request for more reserved seating options, including an opportunity to upgrade into better sections. Fans agreed general admission was a good value, but concerns over finding and holding seats was not always enjoyable. Reserved seats will now be available in desirable locations such as the highly-coveted center court locations on the West side of the arena, providing fans with more options for the game day experience they want.

Reserved seating will be split into five zones.

The UCI student section will remain in the lower bowl (sections 102-105), but the seats above will be converted from general admission to reserved seats. General admission will now be located in the North End Zone (sections 109-114) above row G.

New seating locations will be made available to current season ticket holders renewing their seats first. New season ticket accounts will be filled based on the order in which their season ticket deposit was received.

New Season Ticket Deposits are now being accepted. Place your $50 deposit to purchase up to 8 seats when new season ticket allocation begins in August.
