UC Irvine competes in the 2016 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday at Long Beach State's Jack Rose Track.
Friday's action, which begins at 11:00 a.m., features field trials/finals in the hammer throw, long jump, shot put and high jump.
Track events, which start at 1:30 p.m., will have finals in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 10,000 meters, with trials in the other events.
Saturday's first field event is at 10:00 a.m. with the track finals beginning at 2:08 p.m.
Fox Sports Prime Ticket will have live coverage Saturday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. with Justin Alderson, Milena Glusac and Lindsey Thiry calling the action.
UCI junior Lloyd Sicard, who won the 110-meter hurdles in last year's meet, ranks No. 1 in the Big West in that event with a season-best time of 13.70 seconds entering the weekend.
