Women's Soccer Black and Blue Rivalry Series Set for ESPN3
September 08, 2015 | Women's Soccer
IRVINE, Calif. --- The Big West Conference office has released its fall schedule of ESPN3 broadcasts with UC Irvine played host to open the women's soccer slate on Sunday, Oct. 18.
The 'Eaters host Long Beach State that evening with a 6:00 p.m. match as part of the Duke's Black and Blue Rivalry Series. The program did the same in 2014 defeating UC Santa Barbara, 2-1, on a late strike for the ESPN3 audience.
"ESPN have done a great job with their production of our games in recent years. It is great for our wider community to have better access to the quality of soccer in the Big West."
Head Coach Scott Juniper and the Anteaters have potential to be featured again in the Big West Tournament semifinals that take place on Thursday, Nov. 5 in Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.
