WALNUT, Calif. --- Sophomore Megan George had UC Irvine's top finish at the 57th annual Mt. SAC Relays Friday.
George posted a time of 13.92 in the 100-meter hurdles to place 20th overall in the event at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut.
Kaulyn Lee-McNeill finished 22nd in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 61.36 and Persis William-Mensah was third in her heat and 29th overall in the 100 meters in 11.84, tying her No. 3 mark in Anteater history.
Simone Buchanan finished 58th overall in the 400 meters in 57.91.
In the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific, Aliya Shah placed 55th overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:17.10 and Marie Brashears finished 99th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.81.
Courtney Sharar placed 95th in the 5,000 meters in 18:25.02 and Marthie Ponty was 123rd (19:38.88).
Olympia Martinez was 137th in the 1500 meters in 5:05.13 and Makenna McGrann 142nd (5:09.28).
