IRVINE, Calif. --- Four members of the UC Irvine women's indoor track and field team have been named 2015 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.

UCI's student-athletes who earned the honor are Ariel Cheng, Lauren Ellison, Madelyn Sando and Lily Trinh.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically, must have completed one full academic year at their institution, and competed in at least 50 percent of their institution's meets.
