UC Irvine Returns to Action Saturday

IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine's women's cross country team returns to action Saturday in the Mustang Challenge, hosted by the Master's College, in Santa Clarita.

The women's 5,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. at Central Park.

Saturday's meet is the first action for the Anteaters since finishing third of 17 teams in the season-opening adidas/UCI Invitational Sept. 6.

Kaycee Holcomb earned Big West Conference Athlete of the Week honors following that meet, where she placed 12th of 157 runners.
