
Allison Lee Named Big West Defensive Player of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. --- Allison Lee was voted the Big West Defensive Player of the Week after helping UC Irvine to two conference wins with a solid all-around effort.
Lee picked up a career-high 24 digs in the win against UC Santa Barbara and also had two block assists. Offensively, the outside hitter put away 13 kills and a service ace in the victory. The next night, Lee tacked on 15 digs in the sweep of Cal Poly and tied a career-high with three aces while posting two more block assists.
In the two matches, Lee totaled 4.88 digs per set and this week is ranked in the Big West's Top 10 with a 3.32 dig average.
