REDLANDS, Calif. --- UC Irvine scored the first nine goals of the game as the ninth-ranked 'Eaters powered past Occidental, 20-4, in the Inland Empire Classic at Redlands Sunday.

Brock Ivancovich and Bo de Lange scored a hat trick each while Larson Pfeil, Kyle Kittlitz and Chris Swieca added a pair apiece.

Thirteen different UCI players scored at least one goal in the game.

Dylan Peterson recorded six saves in goals for the 'Eaters, who improved to 7-0 on the season.
