Nick Jennings Finishes 2nd in Pole Vault at Oxy

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- UC Irvine's Nick Jennings finished second in the pole vault at the Oxy Invitational Saturday.
The Anteater senior cleared 16-5 ½ to earn runner-up honors in the field of 17 competitors.
UCI's Stephen Brown placed fourth with a height of 15-11 ¾.
Andrew Snyder led a sizeable group of Anteater runners in the 1500 meters with a 30th-place time of 3:55.18 in the field of 81 competitors.
The Anteaters compete in the Big West Conference Championships at the Northridge Track & Field Complex Friday and Saturday.
