- The Anteaters travel to 13th-ranked Hawai'i Friday in Big West action.
- UCI has had a rough October, going 2-4 in the month.
- Lena Latour made her Anteater debut against Long Beach State, coming off the bench in the third set.
- UCI ranks in the top three in four conference categories. The team leads the Big West in aces, is second in blocks (2.39) and digs (15.75) and is third in opponent hitting percentage (.197).
ACES HIGH FOR 'EATERS
- UCI continues to lead the Big West in aces, firing 1.51 per set.
- The team, which has posted double-digit aces twice this year, has logged four or more aces in eight consecutive matches.
LEE LEADS ANTEATERS
- Allison Lee put together her second-best performance of the year against Long Beach State, putting away 13 of 23 attempts with just one error to hit .52.
- Her previous best was a .607 performance against IPFW in which she knocked down 17 kills in 28 attempts with no errors.
- Lee fell just shy of a double-double, picking up nine digs and firing one ace in the effort against the 49ers.
- She is fourth on the team with 126 kills and a 2.21 kill average.
FLEMING NEARING No. 2 ON UCI CHARTS
- Shannon Fleming has 333 block assists and needs just four to take over the second spot on the UCI career records.
- Currently in second is Amanda Vasquez, who recorded 337 from 2002-05.
- Fleming is second in the Big West in blocking at 1.13 but leads the conference with 88 block assists and is fourth with eight solo stuffs.
- She remains in the Big West's top spot in aces with 33 and a .39 average.
RAINBOW WAHINE
- Hawaii is ranked 13th in the nation and is third in the Big West at 5-3 with a 16-4 overall record.
- The Rainbow Wahine are led by Emily Hartong, who has a Big West-leading 344 kills.
- Hawaii leads the conference in four of seven categories (kills, opponent hitting percentage, assists, hitting percentage).
- UCI lost in four sets earlier this year to UH and has never beaten the Wahine in 27 tries.
