UC Irvine with Eight Student-Athletes on MPSF All-Academic Team

IRVINE, Calif. --- Eight members of the UC Irvine women's indoor track and field team have been named 2012 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.
UCI's selections are Kelly Collins, Lauren Freschauf, Christa Kondru, Martina Mickos, Amber Middleton, Kelsi Sando, Jennica Smith and KayC Wharton.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically, must have completed one full academic year at their institution, and competed in at least 50 percent of their institution's meets.
