Anteater Women's Indoor Team Concludes Action at MPSF Championships

SEATTLE, Wash. --- The UC Irvine women's indoor track and field team concluded its season at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championships in Seattle Saturday.
Itos Aikhionbare finished 13th overall in the shot put with a mark of 42-9 ½, Sakia Sailinuu was 17th in the 800 meters (2:13.75) and Ericka Nowell placed 19th of 35 competitors in the 400 meters with a time of 56.73.
UCI opens the 2012 outdoor season hosting the All-UC Meet next Saturday (Mar. 3) beginning at 10:00 a.m.
