GAME NOTES
- The countdown continues for Kristin Winkler, who is 30 digs from breaking the Big West career record in digs. Currently with 2,165, Winkler is nearing the mark of 2,194 held by Cal State Fullerton's Cami Croteau (2007-10).
- Winkler posted 25 digs apiece in each of the last two matches to lead the team, giving her 14 matches with 20 or more digs. The senior libero also tops the team in aces with 25.
- Aly Squires leads the team with 389 kills and a 3.74 average. Squires is second on the team with 296 digs and third with 56 blocks.
- Defensive specialist Sarah Wilder posted a career-high 14 digs on senior night against Cal State Fullerton.
- Molly Yoder, also a defensive specialist, tied a season-best with 16 digs in the effort against the Titans.
- Setter Mackenzi Campbell dished out a season-high 14 assists against UC Riverside last week. Campbell is averaging 1.83 assists in 29 sets.
- Ella Rosenfeld posted a career-high 13 kills against UC Riverside last week. The redshirt freshman also had no errors in 23 attempts, hitting .565 in the contest.
- Rosenfeld tops the team in blocking with a 1.17 average, good for fifth in the conference.
- Career-high marks continued as Shannon Fleming logged a personal-best eight block assists against Cal State Fullerton. Fleming, who is 10th in the Big West in hitting percentage at .242, is also second on the team with 85 blocks and a 0.99 blocking average.
BULLDOG BYTES
- Fresno State is 16-11 overall and looks to snap a three-match losing streak this week.
- The Bulldogs are led by Korrin Wild, who has 350 kills and a 3.30 average.
- Wild is also the team's leader in aces with 50 and a .47 average.
- Maci Murdock owns the team-high in blocks with 92 total stuffs.
- Fresno State has won the last five matches against UCI and holds a 14-9 advantage in the series.
ALL ABOUT THE 49ERS
- Long Beach State is 15-11 and 10-5 in the Big West.
- Sitting in second place, the 49ers are led by Janisa Johnson, who has 298 kills and 375 digs.
- Chisom Okpala has 111 blocks to lead the team to go along with a 2.75 kill average.
- The 49ers defeated UCI earlier this season, 3-0, to improve to 63-8 in the all-time series annals.
