GAME NOTES
- Aly Squires averaged 3.12 kills per set in two matches last week, totaling 25 kills to go along with a combined 25 digs. Squires posted 18 digs against Hawaii, her second-best effort this season.
- Marisa Bubica put away a career-high 21 kills in the effort against the Rainbow Wahine.
- UCI pushed Hawaii to five sets for the first time since 1992 and for only the second time in the all-time series.
- The Anteaters swept Cal State Northridge to take two wins off the Matadors for the first time sine 2009.
- Ella Rosenfeld committed just one error in two matches last week, converting on 8 of 21 attempts for a .333 percentage. Rosenfeld was errorless in eight tries against Hawaii to hit .400 (4-0-8) and posted seven block assists.
- Rosenfeld leads the team with a 1.21 block average to sit fourth in the Big West and is first with a 1.38 average in conference matches only.
- Also atop of the stats in Big West-only matches, is Kristin Winkler, who owns a .38 ace average. She is second in the league with a 5.59 dig average (BW only) as well as overall at 5.43.
- Shannon Fleming had a solid match against Hawaii, putting away 12 kills to go along with an ace, five digs and four blocks. Fleming is fourth on the team with 144 kills and second with 66 blocks.
- Marissa Alvarez handed out 81 assists and fired two aces in two matches last week. The setter also had a combined 15 digs and posted five total blocks, including two solo stuffs.
GET CAUGHT UP ON UC DAVIS
- UC Davis is 12-12 overall and 6-5 in the Big West to sit tied for fourth in the league standings.
- The team is led by Allison Whitson, who has 334 kills and a 3.67 average.
- Victoria Lee tops the team in blocks at 1.22 per set and has 110 on the season.
- The Aggies lead the series 38-20 and defeated the Anteaters in straight sets earlier this season.
TALK ABOUT THE TIGERS
- Pacific is 17-7 and 5-6 in the conference, sharing the seventh spot with the Anteaters.
- Megan Birch is the team leader in kills at 322 and a 3.46 average.
- Gillian Howard paces the Big West in blocks at 1.26 and has 120 total blocks on the season.
- The Tigers swept UC Irvine earlier this season and hold a 54-8 series lead against the Anteaters.
