NOWELL NAMED ESPN ZONE ANAHEIM ANTEATER OF THE WEEK

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine women's indoor track runner, Ericka Nowell, has been named this week's ESPN Zone Anaheim Anteater of the Week.

The junior from Perris, CA placed third in the 400 meters with a time of 58.59 at the Bronco Invitational in Idaho on Saturday. Nowell also ran the second leg of her 4x400 meter relay team, helping them to a fourth place finish with 3.58.76.  

Nowell and the Anteaters head to Albuquerque, New Mexico this Saturday, Jan. 28 for the Lobo Invitational.
