UCI Women's Indoor Track & Field Team Opens Season Saturday

SEASON OPENER: The UC Irvine women's indoor track and field team opens its 2012 season Saturday (Jan. 21) in the Bronco Invitational at The Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho.
Field events begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) with the first running event at 10:00 a.m.
This is the 11th season of the UCI women's indoor program that began in 2002. The Anteaters finished 10th at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championships last year.
Other meets on UCI's 2012 indoor schedule include the New Mexico Lobo Invitational in Albuquerque Jan. 28, the Husky Classic in Seattle Feb. 10-11, and the MPSF Championships, also in Seattle, Feb. 24-25. The NCAA Indoor Championships are in Nampa, Idaho, Mar. 9-10.
