Yonha Adrabi

Yonha Adrabi joined the UC Irvine men's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2019 season, and has since been elevated to assistant and goalkeeper coach.

Adrabi and the Anteaters have seen success since he became part of the family with a Big West regular season title, Big West Championship, and an NCAA Tournament berth just last season in 2023. Anteater goalkeepers have thrived under his tutelage including Big West Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021, Gordon Botterill, and Luke Pruter scoring All-Far West Region notoriety in 2023 along with his name called in the MLS SuperDraft by the defending champion Columbus Crew SC.

Adrabi joined the staff first right as the season neared. In the two years prior, his goalkeeping expertise was used with club Albion SC in San Diego on the professional and youth levels. He spent the previous four seasons as an assistant at Wheaton College, a Division III program in Massachusetts. At Wheaton, he helped the program to 56 wins and one NCAA Tournament appearance as the squad's primary goalkeeper coach. Adrabi returns to the west coast after growing up in Hollywood, Calif. and a El Camino Real High School graduate. He played a pair of season at Santa Barbara City College before finishing his career and earning his degree at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo.
