The accomplished collegiate and national team midfielder joins on as the Director of Operations in March of 2021.
Huie made her named as a midfielder at the University of Portland. She came in in 2001, but her first season was cut short. She came back stronger than ever in 2002 helping the program win a National Championship. She continued to excel playing 99 games over her career finishing as a four-time All-American, MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist her senior year, 31 goals and 48 assists, and all culminating in another national title as a senior in 2005. Her play on the field earned her five honors as a Hall of Famer.
Huie continued playing on the national team starting from the under-18 and on to the under-21 team where she helped them win a pair of Nordic Cups. She earned a senior National Team status following her collegiate career competing in the Algarve Cup in 2005.
She has since returned to her hometown of Mission Viejo in Southern California using most of her time raising her four kids, and with her degree in psychology and Master's in marriage and family therapy has founded GRITNESS this year for mental strength training. She got into coaching taking home a State Cup title in 2019 with So Cal Reds,and added her own National Championship as a player getting back on the pitch and winning with LA Galaxy OC where she scored a goal in five appearances in 2019.
