• Finished 71st at the Titan Invitational with a 5K season-best 20:10.2
• Covered the 6000-meter course at the Triton Invitational in 25:30.5
High School
• Prepped at Saugus High School
• Member of the four-time state, CIF and Foothill League championship cross country team
• Track team also won those titles in three of her four years
• Received the squad's Most Improved Award

• Parents are Gary and Nancy McCarty
• Has two siblings, Natalie and Derek
• Volunteered at the L.A. County Animal Shelter
