OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE
• Gold Medalist in the SKUD-18 class at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing
• Scandone and partner Maureen McKinnon-Tucker made history as the first U.S. Paralympic Sailing Team to win gold
• Selected to be the flag bearer at the opening ceremonies

• Graduated from UC Irvine in 1990
• Member of the Anteater sailing team where he was an All-American and national champion (1988)
