Powers competed for the U.S. Men’s National Team at three Olympic Games (2004, 2008, 2012)

At the 2008 Beijing Games, Powers helped Team USA to a Silver medal after scoring a late goal in the semi-final to send USA to the Gold medal game. It was Team USA’s first medal in 20 years

Four year letterwinner from 1998-2002

Helped the ‘Eaters win an MPSF Championship title in 2000, as UCI finished the season 20-7 overall and fourth in the nation
