OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE
• Gold Medalist in double sculls with Paul Enquist at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games
• It was the first Olympic gold medal in men’s double sculls for the U.S. since 1932
• Also made the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team that did not get a chance to compete because of the boycott
• Coached Oksana Masters/Rob Jones, who won bronze in mixed double sculls at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London

• Graduated from UC Irvine in 1977 with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in administration
• Member of the Anteater crew team
• Inducted into the UCI Athletics Hall of Fame in 1985
