He is in his fifth season with the UCI program, including a redshirt year in 2008...tallied 19 goals as a junior in 2011, including a high of three in a win over Vanguard (9/11/11)...scored two goals during the 2010 season, one each in wins over Santa Clara (9/18/10) and Fresno Pacific (9/4/10)....scored one goal in 2009 in a win over Pomona-Pitzer (9/13/09)...played on a CIF championship team at Buchanan High School and was first team All-CIF and All-Tri-River Athletic Conference...majoring in political science at UCI...was a UCI Scholar-Athlete the past three years...also has earned MPSF All-Academic honors received an All-Academic award from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches the last two years...parents are Dave Pickford and Denise Sasso.
