NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE TIMELINE

 

FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR, AND SENIOR YEARS

Prospective student-athletes should be registering for courses in accordance with:

  • High-school graduation requirements;
  • Appropriate college preparatory curriculum; and
  • NCAA core-curriculum requirements.

    JUNIOR YEAR

  • Prospect should take SAT, PSAT, ACT, or PLAN.
  • Prospect should report test scores directly to the clearinghouse by selecting code 9999 when registering to take the SAT or ACT.

    AFTER JUNIOR YEAR

  • Registration for the clearinghouse must be completed online by visiting www.ncaaclearinghouse.net and completing the instructions.
  • Registration fee is $50 for domestic and $75 for international students.
  • Your high school needs to send Copy 1 of the transcript request form and an official transcript to the clearinghouse.
  • All transcripts must be sent directly from your high school by mail and may not be faxed.

    POST GRADUATION

  • Subsequent to graduation, the high school counselor and prospective student-athlete should review the final transcript before sending to the NCAA Clearinghouse.
  • Upon graduation, your high school must send Copy 2 of the transcript request form and a final transcript with proof of graduation.

    What do I need to do if I attended more than one high school?
    If you attended multiple high schools, you must have an official transcript from each high school you attended sent to the NCAA Clearinghouse. Transcripts from each high school must be mailed directly from the high school to the clearinghouse.
