IRVINE, Calif. --- The Big West Conference recognized 14 UC Irvine student-athletes to open up the athletic season as part of the Fall All-Academic honors.
A total of 190 student-athletes from the nine member institutions were honored by the Big West in the sports of women’s volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s soccer, women’s cross country, and men’s cross country.
In order to be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average, have attained a sophomore standing academically, and have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Women’s Volleyball – Arden Davis, Lena Latour, Ella Rosenfeld, Sydney Wright
Women’s Soccer – Noel Baham, Sammie James, Jenny Konishi
Men’s Soccer – Jack Birkenbeuel, Mats Bjurman
Women’s Cross Country – Pearl Law, Hannah Ruby, Aliya Shah, Courtney Sharar, Alice Yang
