IRVINE, Calif. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the list of student-athletes named Men's All-Academic in the 2025 season, recognizing their hard work in the classroom. UC Irvine placed 18 players on the list and the 'Eaters were also named to the Team GPA list. 

The 2025 list honored more than 500 student-athletes who demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and in competition, each earning at least a 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Ben Atkinson, Cole Francisco, Dylan Rosmann, Keegan McGann, Maddox McEwen, Nico Assalian, Samuel Bowman, and Vincent Vega were all named to the Outstanding list, the highest honors awarded. These athletes maintained a GPA of 3.71-4.0 for the 2025 season. 

Charlie Jones, Jayson Hubbard, Tyler Laymon, and Wyley Dale were named to the Superior list. These athletes maintained a GPA of 3.41-3.70. 

Andrew Bockstahler, Brody Luke, Ethan Spoon, Jasper Dale, Johann Thrall, and Samuel Otta were named to the Excellent list, maintaining a GPA of 3.20-3.40. 

UC Irvine was also named to the Team GPA list for maintaining a 3.40 for the 2025 season. UCI was one of 45 universities named to the list.
