AZUSA, Calif. - UC Irvine established three personal records in the 1500m on the third and final day of the Bryan Clay Invitational Saturday at Cougar Athletic Stadium.

Emma Hadley led the way as she improved on her No. 6 time in school history with a PR 4:20.35 in the 1500m Invite.

In Group A, Kaia Schmidt clocked a personal-best 4:26.46 to place 10th out of 168.

Makena Castillo wasΒ 23rd in a field of 188Β with a lifetime-best 4:31.65 in Group B.

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Anteaters wrapped up action at the Beach Invitational Saturday at Jack Rose Track.

Kailah McKenzie opened the long jump competition with a season-best 6.21 meters (20-4.5). That mark stood as her best of the meet for her second long jump victory of the year.

Faith McLeary clocked a wind-aided personal-record 24.70 in the 200m, while Sarah Ajayi notched a top-20 showing in a 100m hurdle field of 57 athletes (14.27).

Nyla Baker led a trio of 'Eaters in the shot put, coming in eighth out of 54 with a toss of 15.06 meters (49-5). Pinkie Schnayer was 12th at 14.71m (48-3.25). Baker was also UCI's top finisher in the discus where she had a best of 48.30m (158-5).

Alana Sugue cleared 3.77m (12-4.5) in the pole vault.

The 'Eaters started the afternoon in the 4x100 relay where they placed fifth in 45.04 seconds.

Jazzmine Davis then had a top-10 showing in the 100m hurdles, crossing the finish line in a wind-aided 13.42. Esmeray Demirbas added a season-best 58.17 in the 400m hurdles.

DeAna Davis also came in sixth in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.72 meters (182-9).

UC Irvine will be back in action in two weeks when it hosts the Steve Scott Invitational, May 1-2.
