Second Round of Wyoming Cowboy Classic Suspended Due to Darkness

MARICOPA, Ariz. - The second round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic was suspended due to darkness Tuesday at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.
UC Irvine men's golf finished the opening round in a tie for 16th with a 5-count-4 total of 289.
Jack Yu led the Anteaters in a tie for 15th at 3-under 69. Yu had four birdies and 13 pars before his first bogey of the day on his final hole.
Tommy Lin and Owen Davis-Piger both carded a 1-over 73 to tie for 74th. Jason Tang was one stroke back, while Rei Harashima rounded out the lineup at 3-over 75. Harashima was moving up the standings when play was halted as he has five birdies and sits at 2-under with four holes to go in the second round.
The teams will resume action Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. The third round is set to begin immediately after the conclusion of the second round.
