SOMIS, Calif. – The UC Irvine men's golf team wrapped up action at the spring season-opening Bill Cullum Invitational Tuesday at The Saticoy Club.

The Anteaters finished 12th with a 54-hole score of 935 (310-311-314).

Cal State Fullerton combined for an 889 (295-303-291) to edge Cal Poly by one stroke for the team title. Individually, the Mustangs' Rafael Bobo-Lloret and Utah State's David Liechty tied for first at even-par 216.

Senior
Rei Harashima led the 'Eaters with a three-round total of 229 (79-75-75). He had a team-best five birdies on the day and climbed nine spots in the standings into a tie for 27th.

Jason Tang was UCI's next finisher as he tied for 31st with a 231 (77-76-78). Sophomore
Jack Yu also tied for 44th (233), while freshman
Kody Li tied for 65th (242). Sophomore
Owen Davis-Piger rounded out the lineup in 73rd (247).

UC Irvine will be idle for the next two weeks before returning to action at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California, Feb. 23-25.
