
Men's Golf Set for Visit Stockton Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. – The UC Irvine men's golf team is set for its third tournament of the season, heading to Stockton, Calif., for the Visit Stockton Invitational, Oct. 12-14, hosted by Pacific.
The 'Eaters will compete against a strong 18-team field featuring host Pacific, Denver, Southern Utah, San Francisco, Seattle, Saint Mary's, Utah Tech, Fresno State, Idaho, Nevada, Eastern Washington and Utah Valley. UC Irvine will also face fellow Big West programs UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Sacramento State, CSUN and Cal State Fullerton as the team looks to build momentum early in the season.

UC Irvine men's golf placed 10th at the Oregon State Invitational, highlighted by a top-20 finish from Hogan Park in his Anteater debut and sub-70 rounds from Owen Davis-Piger and Jason Tang.
The 'Eaters finished at one-over-par 853 (290-286-277), improving each round before closing the tournament with their best round of the season, a seven-under 277. UCI ranked eighth in par-3 scoring (3.15), tied for eighth in par-4 scoring (4.08) and tied for seventh in par-5 scoring (4.82). The Anteaters also recorded 40 birdies and 181 pars, ranking ninth and seventh in the field, respectively.
A LOOK AT THE LINEUP
Hogan Park led the Anteaters at the Oregon State Invitational, tying for 12th at three-under-par 210 (70-70-70) in his Anteater debut. He recorded 11 birdies and posted three consecutive rounds of 70. Park looks to build on his strong start as he enters the Visit Stockton Invitational.
Jason Tang tied for 48th at the Oregon State Invitational, finishing at four-over-par 217 (74-74-69) after closing with a season-best two-under 69. He also tied for 47th at the season-opening CDA National Reserve Invitational at eight-over-par 224, recording two eagles. Tang aims to carry his strong finish into the next tournament.
Owen Davis-Piger tied for 32nd at the Oregon State Invitational at two-over-par 215 (72-75-68), closing with a three-under 68 to tie his career low. He also recorded seven birdies and led UCI with 39 pars. Davis-Piger looks to carry that momentum into Stockton.
Steven Yang tied for 32nd at the Oregon State Invitational at two-over-par 215 (75-70-70), finishing with back-to-back rounds of one-under 70. He opened his collegiate career by tying for 29th at the CDA National Reserve Invitational at five-over-par 221. Yang enters the Visit Stockton Invitational looking to build on his consistent play.
Rayan Ahmed tied for 63rd at the Oregon State Invitational at nine-over-par 222 (74-72-76), highlighted by a one-over 72 in the second round. In his collegiate debut at the CDA National Reserve Invitational, he tied for 67th at 228 and recorded 11 birdies. Ahmed looks to gain momentum and improve on his previous performances in Stockton.
