RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's cross country finished third out of 22 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational Friday morning at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.

Schmidt saw a nearly eight-second improvement to move up one spot to No. 8 among UCI's all-time leaders.

Junior transfer Emma Hadley had an impressive UC Irvine debut as she clocked a personal-best 20:47.6, which ranks 10th in program history. Hadley placed 11th overall in the race.
