JC Butler Named To Miami HEAT 2K26 Summer League Roster

MIAMI – Alumni JC Butler was named to the Miami HEAT's NBA 2K26 Summer League roster earlier this week.

Butler is one of 15 players on the roster that will be coached by Eric Glass, the HEAT's Assistant Coach.

The reigning 2K25 Summer League champions begin their campaign in the California Classic (July 5-8) where they will face off against the San Antonio Spurs (July 5), Los Angeles Lakers (July 6), and Golden State Warriors (July 8) at the Chase Center.

The HEAT then resume action in Las Vegas for four games at NBA 2K26 as they will take on the Atlanta Hawks (July 11), Cleveland Cavaliers (July 13), Boston Celtics (July 14), and Detroit Pistons (July 17).

The 21st year of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas brings all 30 teams together for the NBA 2K26 Summer League, which begins July 10 and ends July 20 when a champion will be crowned. After each team's first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game.

After graduating in 2023, Butler competed with the Orlando Magic Summer League team (2023) before advancing to the HEAT's G-League affiliate, Sioux Falls Skyforce (2023-24).
