Forward Harrison Carrington Transfers To UC Irvine

IRVINE, Calif.—Transfer forward Harrison Carrington signs with UC Irvine men's basketball for the 2025-26 season.

The Menlo Park, California product spent three years at Colorado before making his way to Irvine. Carrington played in 44 games for the Buffaloes.

"Harrison Carrington is a highly skilled player from a well-coached program at the University of Colorado," remarked head coach Russell Turner. "His blend of size, athleticism, competitiveness, and experience will bring a valuable boost to both our front court and our locker room."

During the 2024-25 campaign, Carrington appeared in 30 games where he averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds in nine minutes of action a night. Shining against Big 12 foes, the 6-foot-7 forward scored a season-high 11 points on the road at Iowa State while blocking two shots against West Virginia.

Prior to his time at Colorado, the incoming redshirt junior spent one year prepping at Northfield Mount Hermon. Carrington helped the Hoggers to a second-place finish in the New England Prep School Athletic Council Class AAA Division and was a national prep championship finalist.

Carrington joins the Anteater program that is coming of their first appearance in the NIT championship game and a record-setting 32 wins.
