CSC Academic All-District Release
IRVINE, Calif. – Senior
Joshua Schuld has been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Men's Track & Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The award recognizes the top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.

Schuld was UC Irvine's first NCAA regional qualifier in the steeplechase since 2008. He was also a conference scorer in the event, placing fourth at the Big West Championships in a personal-record 8:50.75. His time ranks fifth in program history. Schuld had three individual victories during the regular season, winning the steeple at the Beach Opener and Steve Scott Invitational, while finishing ahead of the pack in the 1500m at the Triton Invitational. He recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be in the top-50 in the region in a single event.
