Cass; Stevens Awarded CSC Academic All-District

IRVINE, Calif. – Seniors Thomas Cass and Jack Stevens have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team.
 
Cass grabs his first recognition while Stevens has been honored for the second straight season.

Cass put together 16 points in 27 games played with 10 goals and six assists. The attacker also helped on the back line blocking eight shots and was credited with eight takeaways. The senior placed on both the Big West Fall Academic and ACWPC All-Academic teams in 2024 and 2025. Cass just graduated with his degree in Psychological Science.

Stevens, an All-Big West Honorable Mention in 2024 and 2025, totaled 42 points on the season with the squad's third-best 30 goals and 12 assists as well as recording 17 steals. Stevens is a three-time ACWPC All-Academic Team member and placed on the Big West Fall All-Academic squad for two consecutive years as he just graduated with his degree in Business Economics.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have competed in 90% of the team's total games played OR have started 66% of the team's total games. The At-Large category includes the sports of water polo, fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, men's volleyball, and wrestling.
