Fardanesh Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

IRVINE, Calif. - Max Fardanesh has been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.

Fardanesh helped UC Irvine win its second-straight Big West Championship as he went 3-0 in singles at the conference tournament. The Albany, California, native closed out the year with a 17-6 overall record. He went 12-3 in dual match play and 8-0 against Big West opponents. Seven of his 12 dual victories were match-clinchers. Fardanesh was an All-Big West honorable mention selection. He is majoring in political science.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes also must have played in 70% of the team's scored matches.
